his item is made from 304 SS. It is used to create a swivel joint at guide rail connection to facilitate moving rails in and out. Once you try one of these, they will become an invaluable tool in your arsenal. M8-1.25x20 internal thread & M8-1.25x20 external thread. Mates up perfect with 1/2" guide rods.
